U19 Men's National Championship: East-1 and West-1 Secure Big Wins on Day 1
The 2024 U19 Men’s National Championship kicked off on November 8, with two thrilling matches at the Paramveer Cricket Complex in Atlanta, Georgia. The day saw East-1 and West-1 teams claiming dominant victories, while East-2 and West-2 will need to regroup as they face crucial matches in the coming days.
East-1 vs East-2: A Solid Win for East-1
The first match of the day saw East-1 take on East-2, with East-2 winning the toss and choosing to bowl first. Despite the early loss of two wickets at just 12 runs, East-1 managed to recover thanks to a gritty 32-run knock from opener Amrinder Singh Gill. However, it was lower-order batsman Arya Garg who led the charge, scoring 46 off 66 balls to push the total to 147, including 23 extras.
